Brazil is a multi-ethnic country, with 53.7% being white, 38.5% mulatto, 6.2% black, 0.5% yellow, and 0.4% Indian.



The southeast is the most ethnically Diverse region of Brazil. The region is predominantly white (mainly of Portuguese and Italian descent), Afro-Brazilian, and Of Asian and Indian descent. Brazil also has Germans, Spaniards, Japanese, Syrians, Lebanese, Chinese and Southeast Asians.
